Anthony has more than 20 years of experience as an Insurance Broker. With a keen focus on education, Anthony is qualified by examination as a Senior Associate of the Australian & New Zealand Institute of Insurance & Finance, holds a Diploma of Financial Services (Insurance Broking), a Diploma of Financial Services (General Insurance), is a Qualified Practicing Insurance Broker of the National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) and has completed a Bachelor of Business degree through Charles Sturt University. Anthony has also been active in the insurance industry through committee involvement having been the previous Chairman of the NIBA Young Professionals Committee and Vice Chairman of the NIBA NSW Divisional Committee.
As a father of three young boys, weekends are typically spent ferrying them to sport or letting them stretch their legs whilst bush camping. An avid traveller, Anthony has spent a lot of time abroad, particularly in Asia and the Middle East. More recently, the trips have been much closer to home, with 4WD treks across the Simpson Desert and into the Kimberley / Pilbara regions of far north Western Australia.
Scott has 30 years in the insurance industry as both an underwriter & broker. He is qualified by examination as an Associate of the Australian & New Zealand Institute of Insurance & Finance & holds a Diploma of Financial Services (Broking), Certified Insurance Practitioner & Qualified Practicing Insurance Broker of the National Insurance Brokers Association. As a director and shareholder in the business, Scott enjoys ensuring our customers receive the best possible service and he is available to assist clients with their needs at any level.
Outside of the office, there’s a young family that keeps life on the edge & of course extremely rewarding but occasionally he gets to escape with his wife to see bands & play guitar with friends. Scott is passionate about discovering new music & supporting independent/non main stream artists. A lover of sport, an okay golfer, an exceptional backyard cricketer & whilst the Rugby League playing days are long gone, he remains a strong supporter & of the Maroon & White, always contentious but never dull!
Marketing & Account Manager
Craig O’Shannessy commenced employment with WTS as a trainee and has progressed to become a valuable member of the team. He has over 12 years insurance broking experience, holds the Diploma of Financial Services (Insurance Broking) and is a Senior Associate of ANZIIF.
As of July 2013, Craig became a shareholder of Watkins Taylor Stone.
Originally hailing from Parkes in Central NSW, Craig enjoyed a cricket career where he played seven years of first grade with the Balmain club (Now Sydney Cricket Club) in the Sydney First Grade competition. He was also lucky enough to tour the UK & Ireland in 2001 with the Australian Schoolboys cricket team.
Craig has a passion for travelling the world having visited over 30 countries, eating food and is a sports fanatic!
Liz has more than 20 years experience as an Insurance Broker specialising in Professional and Financial Lines, Compliance and Human Resources. Liz is qualified by examination as a Senior Associate of the Australian & New Zealand Institute of Insurance & Finance, holds a Diploma of Financial Services (Broking), is a Qualified Practicing Insurance Broker of the National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) and is a Justice of the Peace.
Liz is a life time supporter of the NRL Bulldogs, is an avid reader, relishes stimulating challenges and has travelled Europe and the Middle East. She enjoys hosting dinner parties and has a passion for knowledge, education, Australian history and hopes to further explore outback Australia.
Sharon has been advising and negotiating insurance solutions for Watkins Taylor Stone clients for 7 years and has over 15 years experience in the broking industry. She holds a Diploma in Financial Services (Insurance Broking) qualification and specialises in Commercial Business Insurance, Home Warranty, Construction Risks Insurance and Commercial Landlords and Strata products.
As for hobbies she enjoys Tenpin Bowling (and is very good), dining out, crafts/card making and travelling.
Errol joined the Watkins Taylor Stone team in 2016 as a broker, and has over 13 years of experience in the insurance industry – the past 8 years as an insurance broker, and 5 years prior as an insurance underwriter. Errol is a client focused broker who is committed to arranging insurance programmes that best protect our client’s assets.
Errol specialises in Commercial Business insurance products, including Construction Risks and Professional Lines. Errol has been admitted as a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance, is Tier 1 compliant (Insurance Broking), and holds a Diploma of Financial Services (General Insurance). He also holds a Graduate Certificate in Applied Finance and Investment, and is Tier 1 Compliant (Securities) attained through the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.
Away from work Errol looks after his young family, with his spare time spent visiting the supermarket and Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park.
Katie has spent close to 14 years working for Watkins Taylor Stone, returning recently on a part time basis following a new addition to the family. Katie works Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays each week.
Katie holds a Diploma in Financial Services (Insurance Broking) qualification and specialises in Professional Liability (Professional Indemnity, Management Liability, Directors & Officers Liability) and Commercial Business Insurance.
Chad joined Watkins Taylor Stone in 2018 as an account broker having spent nine years working with multinational insurance brokerages within Australia. Chad’s first exposure to insurance was via the mail room, many years ago. He is now qualified by examination as a Senior Associate of the Australian & New Zealand Institute of Insurance & Finance, and holds a Diploma of Financial Services (Broking). Chad is client focused and committed to providing our retail and commercial clients with tailored advice and solutions, and exceptional broking services.
In his spare time, Chad relaxes by working in the garden, reading, and taking to the road for camping adventures in his newly purchased caravan.
Assistant Account Broker (Retail)
Wendy joined the Watkins Taylor Stone team in 2016 following 18 years of providing management and operational services to a major Australian retail and services provider. Wendy’s has extensive experience in management and support including compliance, emergency incident management, auditing, occupational health, safety, security and environment, and training. Wendy’s skill set, particularly her attention to detail and ability to see the bigger picture, has allowed her to easily fit in at Watkins Taylor Stone.
2017 saw Wendy become a Tier 2 qualified insurance broker providing our domestic retail clients with advice tailored to their needs, and working with our extensive broking team internally, and industry providers daily.
In her spare time, Wendy enjoys cooking, sewing, painting, card making and all things creative. A favourite is visiting markets and supporting small local producers.
Accounts & Administration Manager
Cathy has over 28 years experience in the industry. She holds a Diploma of Financial Services (Broking) a Diploma of Management, Certificate IV in Training & Assessment, CIP and is a Justice of the Peace.
Operating as a consultant to Watkins Taylor Stone, Cathy is the all important financial and accounts expert. When not working she enjoys reading and being involved in her son’s representative cricket and weekend sports.
Receptionist / Administration Assistant
Anne joined Watkins Taylor Stone in 2017 as our receptionist and is an experienced and qualified administration assistant. Anne provides our clients, broking team and management with administration support and assistance.
In her spare time, Anne cares for her field of animals, enjoys gardening and watching movies.
Angelo has over 15 years’ experience as an Insurance Broker and previous positions at Watkins Taylor Stone have seen him in both management and broking roles. In 2010 he became General Manager of Watkins Taylor Stone and successfully managed the business under his leadership.
In 2016, Angelo branched out into his biggest business venture, forming his own company, which he now operates as an Authorised Representative under the Watkins Taylor Stone broking licence.
Angelo has broad knowledge across all general insurance products including but not limited to small to medium enterprise businesses, commercial property owners, manufacturers, wholesalers, importers, construction, motor and residential property owners.
Angelo has exceptional personal and interpersonal skills that are highly regarded by his peers clients alike. His clients value his customer service standards, his understanding of their individual needs and his extensive product knowledge. Additionally, the support and follow through during a claims process is something that Angelo holds in high regard.
In 2018, Angelo and his partner Joanne welcomed their son into the world, and he looks forward to weekends where they enjoy time together as family. He also enjoys early morning bike rides with friends and working on home projects with his dad.

Chris has more than 17 years experience in underwriting and 25 years as an Insurance Broker. Chris is qualified by examination as an ANZIIF (Assoc) CIP of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance. Chris is an Authorised Representative (AR 267979) of Watkins Taylor Insurance Brokers Pty Limited T/as Watkins Taylor Stone.
Chris enjoys his regular games of tennis and walking the eastern suburbs coastline.
